She knows personally what a parent goes through when a child struggles in school. Her son was diagnosed by a Neuropsychologist with Dyslexia when he was in the eighth grade. It was very heartbreaking to see her son struggle in school and watch his self-esteem drop.
As a parent, she learned to advocate for her son and provided him with the appropriate resources for his education. During the course of providing her son with the very best resources for his condition, she discovered the field of Educational Therapy. This was her turning point. She went back to school to become an Educational Therapist so she could assist other struggling students and parents.
